Streamlogics Extends Reach of Videoconferencing Terminals with Webcasting

Toronto, Canada - April 2, 2003 -
Streamlogics Corporation (Streamlogics), a leading provider of e-communications solutions, today announced the integration of the company's webcasting services with most videoconferencing units.

Traditionally, videoconference units have been limited to provide point-to-point or limited multi-point communications solutions. Streamlogics' integrated webcast solution now enables videoconferencing users to extend the reach of their videoconferencing meetings to a global Internet audience, reaching up to thousands of additional endpoints.

Videoconference presentations can now be webcast live, or archived for viewing at a later date in both Realplayer™ and Windows Media Player formats. Streamlogics' standard webcast features such as slideshow integration, registration, password protection, and Q&A may also be integrated into any videoconference webcast. All videoconference webcasts are hosted on Streamlogics' advanced streaming media network.

The service has been designed for ease of use. With the use of simple provisioning tools, videoconference users can webcast live or on-demand video presentations over the Internet or corporate intranets. Streamlogics supports both H.320 and H.323 videoconferencing codecs. No additional hardware or software is required to use the service.

"There are over one million videoconference endpoints deployed throughout the world", said Dave Gascoine, Vice-President of Marketing at Streamlogics. "By integrating our webcasting services with existing videoconferencing systems, our clients can extend the reach of their meetings to anyone who has access to a PC".

Streamlogics enables organizations to improve communications with their target audience in a cost-effective and reliable manner via the Internet and private intranets. The company's integrated service offerings include webcasting, webconferencing, e-learning and media hosting. Since inception in 1999, Streamlogics has delivered thousands of online presentations for leading corporations, associations, and government organizations.
